I train twice a day and complete between 6 and 12 sessions a week. I didn’t think it was possible beforehand to train this much but a structured and progressive program twice a day gets better results and that’s what I’m here to do.

WHS: What do you feel you have achieved since you’ve been at WHS?
TW: So much! I have increased my athletic performance dramatically. I’ve gone from an alright player to someone who can potentially be an elite player. On top of that my body composition has improved. When I first walked in and was told I was too fat I was surprised, but then I looked at my old photos and saw the difference! My strength has also increased a lot.
WHS: What was your training like before WHS?
TW: I trained frequently but not at the same intensity or with much organisation. The structure I followed was pretty much deadlift one day and bench press the next. My totals for those lifts were 180kg & 70kg respectively before WHS. At the time of this interview they’re now 220kg & 125kg.
WHS: What’s your training like now?
TW: I train twice a day and complete between 6 and 12 sessions a week. I didn’t think it was possible beforehand to train this much but a structured and progressive program twice a day gets better results and that’s what I’m here to do. I enjoy the variety I have in training now and this directly relates to my performance on the gridiron. Rather than just following combine lifts training is more fun as I was bored before.
WHS: What’s unique about the training we do?
TW: Firstly has to be the structure. We have a consult at least every 12 weeks to discuss goals, where we need to improve and then the program is written for me with the end goal in mind. This means you never feel like you’re stagnating I enjoy the semi-private training environment as I’m quite vocal and like to help motivate anyone else who’s in the gym. Also the explanation of why I’m doing certain things pushes me. I like to learn and highly value the structural balance concept. The One Day Cures and Super Accumulation programs are different but fun!

If you’re serious about your training this is the only gym to train at

WHS: What was your nutrition like before WHS?
TW: Terrible! I’d eat anything and everything as I had very little knowledge of nutrition I tried to hit calorie quota each day because that’s how I thought you got bigger. I’ve never felt bigger, stronger or healthier than when on the paleo lifestyle and taking Poliquin supplements.
WHS: How has BioSignature helped you?
TW: It has motivated me to change body for the good. I am competitive so when I’m told my team mate is leaner or has more muscle mass than me I want to work harder. Most importantly I have learnt why certain things change my body and thus my body fat and hormones and then in turn my performance, whether in the gym or on the gridiron. Following the advice given during BioSignature helps me train harder for longer.
WHS: How has Trigenics and Active Release Techniques helped you?
TW: Due to the nature of American Football I have had constant problems with my left side due to impact injuries. The injury & rehabilitation techniques have fixed this and made it bearable, which meant I didn’t miss hitting people! Trigenics is second to none when it comes to results.
WHS: What have you learned?
TW: I couldn’t tell you everything I’ve learnt as I’ve learnt and absorbed so much. I’m confident in my ability to answer the questions put to me by the coaches (I don’t like prowler punishment!) You’re explained everything involved with the training and BioSignature and you’ll learn something every session
WHS: What would you tell others about your experience of WHS?
TW: If you’re serious about your training this is the only gym to train at
WHS: In one sentence what makes us different to other gyms?
TW: Can you flip tyres in your gym!
WHS: What’s next for you?
TW: My ultimate goal is to make a sack in the Superbowl. Right now I’m focusing on getting on the practice squad of a UFL or Arena Football team.
